METALLICA + BEATLES Mashup Act BEATALLICA Announces January/February 2027 European Tour

October 29, 2026

BEATALLICA, a satirical mashup act whose hilarious schtick marries the songwriting prowess of THE BEATLES to the deep-throated rock growl of METALLICA, is set to hit Europe in early 2027 with shows across the U.K., The Netherlands, Germany, Austria and Poland.

The band, which has earned praise from METALLICA's James Hetfield and Kirk Hammett, with Hetfield quoted saying of them "It was pretty amazing", and the likes of DREAM THEATER's Mike Portnoy, who was quoted saying "This is pure genius! You've got a fan in me!", have been slogging it on the road for the past 25 years, and are set to air tracks from their latest album, "The Devolver Album", which was released in 2021.

Speaking about the tour, the band said: "Hell yeah, Beatallibangers! We are completely hyped to be heading back across the pond to get into some live heshing with you! It's been a bit since we have seen you so you can plan on new tracks from our latest album — 'The Devolver Album' — along with classic tunes from the entirety of our past catalogue.

"It is definitely cool to be hitting some cities we haven't been to before... and we thank each of you! Be sure to catch up with us on our socials with a 'like' and 'follow'. You can stream us on any major service. Sergeant Het is coming for YOU! Are you ready? Horns up...pints up...and stay hesh!"

Forged from the influences of two of history's greatest bands, BEATALLICA are the world's first live mash-up or "bash-up" band. Their wit, creativity, subversiveness, and flair are as sharp as the points they make. BEATALLICA destroy the boundaries of creativity and reveal how original compositions of music can be crafted for those who identify with humor. All the while, they show appreciation and reverence to THE BEATLES and METALLICA, grandfathers of their respective genres.

BEATALLICA's initial mash-up offering, "Sgt. Hetfield's Motorbreath Pub Band", promptly went to No. 9 on Billboard's comedy music chart in the United States and No. 1 on Tower Records' chart in Japan when released in 2007. The singles "Revol-ooh-tion" and "A Garage Dayz Nite" have become fan favorites and live show classics.

In 2008, BEATALLICA did the unthinkable and released "All You Need Is Blood", a maxi-single recorded in 14 different languages, setting a new bar for perseverance and detail. In August of 2009, BEATALLICA unleashed their sophomore full-length "Masterful Mystery Tour". Their technically brilliant musicianship and uncanny ability has led to the creation of song titles such as "Here Of The Day Tripper", "I Want To Choke Your Band" and "Got To Get You Trapped Under Ice". Videos for "Hero" and "Fuel On The Hill" can be found at mass media sources everywhere.

2009 also saw the release of "Winter Plunderband", a holiday EP that features mashups as well as the first offerings of original BEATALLICA material. The hilarious, animated video for "Hella Day For Holiday" has become a comedy metal classic. 2013 brought "Abbey Load" and BEATALLICA's tackling of THE BEATLES' historical rock medleys teamed up with their own brand of sonic power. The collection highlights BEATALLICA's one-of-a-kind approach to rock and metal.

Following an extensive tour of the U.S.A., the band continued to hone their skills as the coronavirus halted live performances. The result is their latest release, "The Devolver Album", on Metal Assault Records. The single "Wherever And Everywhere", along with tunes such as "Play Me Overdrive Guitar" and "Here Comes Revenge", are certain to become staples at live shows.

BEATALLICA have chalked up appearances at events with Sammy Hagar, CLUTCH, members of MASTODON, Jerry Cantrell and Billy Duffy, TESTAMENT, Steven Adler, L.A. GUNS, SEPULTURA, MOTÖRHEAD and many more rock/metal icons. They have headlined at open-air festivals in both the United States and Europe. Stops in Asia, and press coverage throughout the world, have confirmed BEATALLICA's international stronghold. Peers and media members have lauded the band's continual efforts of musicianship and originality.

Back in 2005, the members of BEATALLICA received help from METALLICA drummer Lars Ulrich in their dispute with Sony Music over BEATALLICA's "unlawful use" of the group's compositions "without authorization or license." Sony Music accused BEATALLICA of violating copyright laws, demanded that their webmaster pay "unspecified damages," and forced the band's ISP to shut down their web site. Thanks to Ulrich's efforts, BEATALLICA was soon back online, and the legal debacle was over.

"The Internet is a swamp of piracy, so you send out cease-and-desist letters all the time," METALLICA lawyer Peter Paterno said at the time. "Someone at Sony probably saw this site and sent out a letter and once they realized what was on it they decided it was not something worth picking a fight over. They got that this is different from someone selling BEATLES CDs and not paying royalties."

BEATALLICA frontman Jaymz Lennfield (a.k.a. Michael "Tinker" Tierney) later told River Cities' Reader that he believed his band's music had the legal protection of parody. "We think we're making something new, especially lyrically," he said. "It's definitely a creative process... Legally and creatively, stuff like this hasn't been done before."
