METALLICA: Berlin 'Death Magnetic' Release Party Details Revealed

METALLICA will return to Berlin, Germany on September 12 for the official record-release party for the band's new album "Death Magnetic". They celebrate as first band ever in the brand new O2 World Berlin, an events arena built by Anschutz Entertainment Group. 17,000 fans will get the chance to see the rock legends perform, which is the maximum capacity of O2 World.

Tickets for this unique event will be only available through METALLICA's web sites Mission: Metallica and MetClub for the price of 10 euros which is about $15.

METALLICA will take care about all of the expenses of the release party. They will also donate all of the earnings of ticket sales to the German Heartcenter Berlin, to help with the acquisition of a heart-lung machine for small children.

O2 World officially opens on September 10. With capacities of up to 17,000 visitors, it is one of the most modern multi functional arenas in the world. Till the end of the year, more than 40 sport and entertainment highlight will take place. The very first event will be the METALLICA release party on September 12 and the opening concert of HERBERT GRÖNEMEYER on September 13.
