METALLICA Drummer Receives Copies Of GLENN HUGHES Autobiography

Lars Ulrich of METALLICA took time out at the U.K. Sonisphere event to browse through the autobiography of legendary DEEP PURPLE, BLACK SABBATH and BLACK COUNTRY COMMUNION singer Glenn Hughes. Ulrich supplied the foreword to the book, titled "Deep Purple And Beyond: Scenes From The Life Of A Rock Star", and was presented with deluxe and signature editions of the book by Hughes's co-writer Joel McIver and members of the team from Foruli, the publisher.

"Deep Purple And Beyond: Scenes From The Life Of A Rock Star" features contributions from Hughes' friend and comrade in DEEP PURPLE David Coverdale, his lifelong musical collaborator Tony Iommi of BLACK SABBATH and a host of others, including Rob Halford, Angie Bowie, John Varvatos and the members of THE KLF, with whom Hughes scored a global hit in 1991.
