METALLICA Fan Starts Facebook Group To Entice Group To Saskatoon

October 20, 2008

Luke Simcoe of The StarPhoenix reports that 25-year-old Amanda Price has started a petition to bring the band to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada.

The online group now boasts 736 members, and Price says she's collected more than 2,400 signatures.

"If you want something, you gotta to work for it," she said. "And we want METALLICA here."

Price says she got the idea to start the petition after spotting a five-day gap between the band's show in Edmonton on Dec. 7 and its next gig in California on Dec. 12.

"That's just enough time for a kick-ass show at Credit Union Centre," she said.
