METALLICA Fans Camp Outside Venue Two Days Before Concert In Lima

January 18, 2010

According to LivingInPeru.com, dozens of METALLICA fans spent the night camping outside University of San Marcos Stadium in Lima, Peru in order to secure a place near the stage during the band's January 19 concert at the venue.

Despite the fact that the show is more than 24 hours away, a growing number of fans has gathered near the stadium Venezuela Avenue gates with their tents and sleeping bags.

Meanwhile, university authorities have announced that all activities for tomorrow have been suspended in order to make the concert run more smoothly.

Coqui Fernandes, the Peruvian businessman who is bringing METALLICA to Lima, said over the weekend that the stadium gates will be opened around noon tomorrow.
