"Frantic" comes off the group's forthcoming "St. Anger" CD, due on June 10 through Elektra Records.

In other news, the long-awaited "St. Anger" DVD — which will include feature footage of the band playing all 11 songs from the album in a live setting — will reportedly get its world premiere on May 26 in Berlin, Germany. The event will apparently take place at the Sony Center/Potsdamer Platz (near the Brandenburger Tor/Reichstag),and will begin at around 5:00 p.m. Tickets will be available through competitions by local radio stations. As-yet-undisclosed members of METALLICA are expected to be present for the occasion, which will also include a live appearance by Europe's most well-known METALLICA tribute band NUTELLICA (www.nutellica.de).

METALLICA's Summer Sanitarium Tour, which also features LINKIN PARK, LIMP BIZKIT, DEFTONES and MUDVAYNE, launches July 4 in Pontiac, Michigan. The tour runs through August 10 in San Francisco.
