METALLICA Pay Tribute To 20 Years Of Music Video At 'MTV Video Music Awards'

METALLICA ended the 20th annual "MTV Video Music Awards" on a high note Thursday night (August 28) with an instrumental tribute to 20 years of music videos. The medley began with LENNY KRAVITZ's "Are You Gonna Go My Way", shifted into NIRVANA's "Smells Like Teen Spirit", continued with a version of THE WHITE STRIPES' "Seven Nation Army" and ended with a rocking take on MICHAEL JACKSON's "Beat It". After changing instruments, METALLICA returned to play "Frantic", the latest single from "St. Anger". Check put pictures from Wire Image, Film Magic.
