METALLICA Performs 'The Day That Never Comes' Live For First Time

METALLICA played its new single, "The Day That Never Comes", for the first time last night (Friday, August 22) during the band's headlining set on the main stage at the UK's Leeds Festival. Video footage of the performance is expected to surface shortly.

The band played a hit-packed set, which included "…And Justice For All" and "Master Of Puppets", and also previewed another brand new track, "Cyanide", from the forthcoming CD.

According to NME.com, METALLICA revealed from the stage that it is set to return to the UK for an indoor arena tour in February 2009.
