METALLICA: Win Tickets To Theatrical Premiere Of 'Some Kind Of Monster'

The official online Metallica Store is giving fans the chance to win tickets to the theatrical premiere of the METALLICA documentary, "Some Kind Of Monster".

Opening nationwide July 9, the red-carpet premiere of "Some Kind Of Monster" will take place July 7 in New York with METALLICA in attendance, and you could be there. Everyone that purchases from the official online store between June 3 and June 22 is automatically entered to win (no purchase necessary to enter).

Grand Prize: Two tickets to the premiere of "Some Kind of Monster" in NYC on July 7, two round-trip-airline tickets from nearest major airport to a major airport in the New York City metro area, two nights hotel stay (one room),and ground transportation to and from the airport in New York City only.

In other news, MusicTap is reporting that Elektra Records will issue a METALLICA EP with a song from the "Some Kind of Monster" documentary. The EP features the song "Some Kind of Monster", as well as an edit of the same song. The EP will also contain live versions "The Four Horsemen", "Damage, Inc.", "Leper Messiah", "Motorbreath", "Ride the Lightning" and "Hit the Lights" (originally released on the U.K. EP release of "The Unnamed Feeling"). The live cuts are from a June 11, 2003 show in Paris. A video is included for "Some Kind of Monster". This enhanced EP is scheduled for release on July 13. Not only will the standard issue be released, but bonus issues will be made available that contain Large or X-Large t-shirts.
