MICHAEL ANGELO BATIO Films Live DVD In Japan

June 29, 2006

World-renowned progressive rock guitarist Michael Angelo Batio's official web site has been updated with the following message:

"[Michael Angelo Batio] just returned from performing a phenomenal concert in Tokyo, Japan. The next day he spent the entire afternoon filming a live DVD, including an extensive interview for Young Guitar magazine. The DVD was filmed at the Musician’s Institute (M.I.) in Tokyo. Michael played four different songs, each of them in one take! To view some photos of the DVD taping go to the '2006 Road Photos' section of our site.

"This makes two! Michael has now done extensive filming and interviews for two of the biggest guitar magazines in the world in the month of June! Guitar World magazine in the USA and Young Guitar magazine in Japan. Both interviews and DVD footage will be released later this year!

"[Michael Angelo Batio]'s next shows will be in Colorado, Utah and Northern California. The 'MAB HWS Tour 2006' continues throughout the year with performances already scheduled into November!"

As previously reported, Michael Angelo Batio's second solo CD, "Planet Gemini", has been remastered with never-before-heard instrumental versions of the songs "So Much to Live For" and "These Four Walls" added. There is also an additional track as well. More information is available at this location.
