MICHAEL SCHENKER: Classic Flying V Available For Purchase
December 31, 2007According to a posting on the Michael Schenker News and Tour Information web site, the 1974 Gibson Flying V which legendary German guitarist Michael Schenker used during the years 1975-1978 is listed on Siggi Schwarz' online music store at this location. The guitar's neck was apparently broken but repaired in 1977.

As previously reported, Schenker will embark on a UK tour next month under the MICHAEL SCHENKER & FRIENDS banner.
The guitarist is scheduled to release a new MICHAEL SCHENKER GROUP (MSG) album in April called "In the Midst Of Beauty", which will feature returning MSG singer Gary Barden, drummer Simon Philips (THE WHO, TOTO),bassist Neil Murray (BLACK SABBATH, WHITESNAKE) and keyboardist Don Airey (DEEP PURPLE, OZZY OSBOURNE).
Michael Schenker's UK tour this past summer was cut short due to a "multitude of events beyond the band's control, including Michael's," according to a posting on Schenker's MySpace page.
Schenker's final gig in the UK took place on August 3 in Stourbridge, U.K. when Michael ended up calling off the concert after only a handful of songs.
