3 MILE SCREAM: Canadian Tour Dates Announced

September 24, 2007

3 MILE SCREAM has announced new headlining tour dates in support of its Corporate Punishment debut, "A Prelude to Our Demise". The band will be touring throughout Canada in October and November.

3 MILE SCREAM is currently putting the finishing touches on its sophomore album, which is due for release in early 2008. The album was produced by CRYPTOPSY guitarist Christian Donaldson, who recently produced THE AGONIST's Century Media debut.

"The new album is more melodic while still remaining within the initial vein of our previous record," says 3 MILE SCREAM frontman Matt McGachy. "We decided to make the clean parts as beautiful as possible while keeping the brutal parts as brutal as possible."

The band has posted its Chad Archibald-directed (ARISE AND RUIN) video for the track "Our Blackened Sun" online. Watch it below.

3 MILE SCREAM's debut album, which was produced by Jean-Francois Dagenais of KATAKLYSM, has prompted a plethora of critical acclaim from critics and fans, including LAMB OF GOD's Randy Blythe who described the band as "artfully orchestrated brutality", while Decibel magazine said, "This quintet is akin to a more energetic GOD FORBID, with staccato riffs and languid melodies giving way to machine-gun breakdowns at almost every turn."
