3 MILE SCREAM Putting Finishing Touches On Sophomore Album

December 7, 2007

Montreal metallers 3 MILE SCREAM are currently putting the finishing touches on their sophomore album, "A Glimpse of Hope", which is due for release in early 2008. The CD is being produced by CRYPTOPSY guitarist Christian Donaldson, who recently worked with Century Media recording artists THE AGONIST.

The band has the following dates booked for the coming weeks:

Dec. 21 - Montreal, Quebec - Bar St-Laurent
Dec. 22 - Quebec City, Quebec – L'Anti
Jan. 05 - Montreal, Quebec - Cafe l’inco

3 MILE SCREAM's video for the track "Our Blackened Sun" made its debut on MuchMusic's "Loud" program in October. The clip was directed by Chad Archibald (ARISE AND RUIN) and can be viewed below.

"Our Blackened Sun" is taken from 3 MILE SCREAM's Corporate Punishment debut album, "A Prelude To Our Demise", which can be heard in its entirety at this location.

"A Prelude To Our Demise" has prompted a plethora of critical acclaim from critics and fans, including ARCH ENEMY's Michael Amott who claimed 3 MILE SCREAM was "heavy and melodic" with "great chops" and LAMB OF GOD's Randy Blythe, who described the band as "artfully orchestrated brutality."

3 MILE SCREAM frontman Matt McGachy recently joined Canadian death metallers CRYPTOPSY as their new singer.
