MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE Signs With THE END RECORDS

January 8, 2008

The End Records has signed an exclusive licensing deal with New York's electro-metal band MINDLESS SELF INDULGENCE (MSI) for North America. The group's new album, titled "If", will be released on April 29, 2008.

MSI, one of the most unique and hard-working acts in the scene today, continues to storm the music scene with its infectious and feisty electronic, metal and punk rock sound, winning over music fans with their incendiary live shows, catchy fun-filled hooks and creative music videos.

Singer Jimmy Urine stated about the direction of the group's new material, "The fact is that we get bored easily and we like to hear many different kinds of music...often at the same time. This record reflects that, and in doing so, this will be our most diverse album to date as well as one of our longest."

In other MSI news, after an astonishing 95 weeks on Billboard's Hot Dance Singles Sales chart, the MSI single, "Straight to Video", has reached its highest position to date, Number One. Coincidentally, MSI's single for "Shut Me Up" is currently perched at Number Four on the same chart wherein it has resided for 66 weeks (of which it has been in the Number One spot seven separate times). Both singles are culled from 2005's UCR/Metropolis Records album "You'll Rebel to Anything" which is set for an expanded and remastered re-release Stateside on January 22. Most recently, MSI's first ever DVD, "Our Pain, Your Gain" debuted at #5 on Billboard's "Top Music Video" chart, selling 3,500 copies in its first week this past September.

The band plans to tour extensively next year in support of the new album and has already been confirmed as co-headliner of the massive rock n' roll extravaganza Bamboozle being held on May 3 and May 4, 2008 in New Jersey.
