MINISTRY Mainman Undergoing Series Of Foot Surgeries

December 14, 2009

Al Jourgensen (MINISTRY, REVOLTING COCKS) is currently undergoing a series of surgeries on his foot. According to a posting on the MINISTRY MySpace page, "He'll be 100% back in black in no time."

A new Christmas video message from Jourgensen can be viewed below.

"It's Always Christmas Time", a collaborative carol from Jourgensen and Mark Thwaite (MISSION UK, PETER MURPHY, MOB RESEARCH) had its exclusive world broadcast debut on "The Mancow Show" on November 6.

Jourgensen and Thwaite, both longtime friends of KILLING JOKE/MINISTRY bassist Paul Raven, who passed away October 20, 2007, joined forces recently at Jourgensen's 13th Planet compound in Texas on REVCO projects and another Jourgensen side project.

Thwaite brings his remix skills to REVCO's "Sex-O MiXXX-O" on "Abundant Redundancy (Dambuster Metalmorphosis Mix)", released as a digital-only bonus supplement to the physical release. Thwaite's previous remix credits include GARY NUMAN, METHOD MAN and LICKY, to name a few. Additionally, Thwaite collaborated with MINISTRY/REVCO guitarist Sin Quirin on "Filthy Senoritas" for the upcoming REVCO release, slated for spring 2010.
