MINSK: Another New Song Posted Online

May 14, 2009

Chicago/Peoria, Illinois quartet MINSK has posted another new song, "Means To An End", on the band's MySpace page. The track comes off the group's forthcoming album, "With Echoes In The Movement Of Stone", which is scheduled for release on May 26 in North America and June 1 internationally via Relapse Records. The follow-up to "The Ritual Fires Of Abandonment" was recorded at Volume Studios in Chicago with the band's Sanford Parker in the producer's chair.

MINSK, having recently returned home from its first-ever European tour, has announced two record-release shows in support of "With Echoes In The Movement Of Stone"'s release. The first will be held on May 25 in Chicago with ACROSS TUNDRAS. The second will take place the following weekend in Peoria, Illinois.

MINSK recently released a split seven-inch of ROKY ERICKSON covers with labelmates UNEARTHLY TRANCE via Parasitic Records. The black vinyl release, which is limited to 500 copies, features MINSK covering "Stand For The Fire Demon" and UNEARTHLY TRANCE doing a version of "Night Of The Vampire".
