MIRDYN Completes Work On Debut Album

November 27, 2008

After two years of hard work, writing songs and searching for the right bandmembers, Dutch metal band MIRDYN has completed work on its debut album, "My Enigma". The 45-minute effort was recorded at the Soundlogde Studio in Germany.

Commented bassist Gea Mulder: "Soundlodge is known as a good studio for recording metal. We asked several artists that already recorded there if they were satisfied with their results (including GOD DETHRONED, OBSCENITY, DEW-SCENTED). Of course, we also listened to CDs recorded in the Soundlogde studio and they sounded really good! MIRDYN is keeping control, I designed the artwork already and concerning sound and mixing, we have drummer Martijn (Paauwe) as our expert. He and Jörg Uken (Soundlogde's producer) will be mixing the CD together."

According to Martijn, MIRDYN's music can be described as "melodic death thrash metal combined with grunt and clean vocals." MIRDYN has "a little of everything but mostly its own original sound!!"

MIRDYN is currently looking for a label to release "My Engima".
