MISERATION Signs With LIFEFORCE RECORDS

Sweden's MISERATION — the collaboration between SCAR SYMMETRY vocalist Christian Älvestam and Jani Stefanovic (ESSENCE OF SORROW, DIVINEFIRE) — has inked a deal with Lifeforce Records. The group's debut album, "Your Demons, Their Angels", will be released in Europe on September 15 and the U.S. on October 28.

Christian Älvestam comments: "After a few months of negotiating, we are very happy and excited to announce that we have now inked a new deal with Lifeforce Records. It's an up-and-coming, easy-going and down-to-earth label with a lot of great bands and releases under its wings and we are really looking forward to start cooperating... According to a press release, "Your Demons, Their Angels" "works towards merging the best elements of Swedish melodic death metal with the brutality and technical approach of contemporary U.S. death metal (ala HATE ETERNAL and SUFFOCATION),combined with a forward-thinking edge. While integrating a good dose of melodies and clean singing parts, MISERATION's Lifeforce debut is driven by fast-tempo drumming and a distinctive in-your-face guitar approach that makes you think of the early '90s Swedish metal heroes. MISERATION's style is sophisticated without being too progressive that should appeal to fans of EDGE OF SANITY, BLOODBATH, HYPOCRISY, SOILWORK, or early IN FLAMES.
