MISERY INDEX Performs Free Show At GENERATION RECORDS In NYC (Video)

On June 7, Baltimore, Maryland's MISERY INDEX played a free show at Generation Records (web site) in New York City.

"Heirs To Thievery", the new album from MISERY INDEX, sold around 1,000 copies in the United States in its first week of release. The CD landed at position No. 43 on the Top New Artist Albums (Heatseekers) chart, which lists the best-selling albums by new and developing artists, defined as those who have never appeared in the Top 100 of The Billboard 200. Released in North America on May 11 via Relapse Records, the CD was recorded at Wright Way Studios (DYING FETUS, SLIPKNOT, MOS DEF) with engineer Steve Wright.

MISERY INDEX recently took part in a month-long U.S. tour in support of "Heirs To Thievery". The band teamed up with labelmates DYING FETUS, along with ARSIS and CONDUCTING FROM THE GRAVE, for a trek that included a stop at the California Metalfest on May 15 in Pomona, California.
