MISERY INDEX Talks Washington Capitols Playoffs

April 15, 2009

Baltimore, Maryland's MISERY INDEX, who have a known love for their regional hockey team the Washington Capitols, recently spoke with the Washington Post Express about "The Caps" as they head into the NHL playoffs tonight against the New York Rangers. The video interview was taped last night after MISERY INDEX's performance at the Rock 'n' Roll Hotel in D.C. and can be viewed below.

MISERY INDEX is playing a handful of shows on the East Coast with LANDMINE MARATHON before they embark on a month-long cross-Canada headlining tour starting April 24. Immediately following their Canadian tour, MISERY INDEX will spend a week with ROTTEN SOUND and MARUTA in between performances at the Auditory Assault and Maryland Deathfest. MISERY INDEX will then head to Japan with CANNIBAL CORPSE and THE FACELESS in early June, backed by a number of European open-air festivals in the summer months.

MISERY INDEX has been touring almost non-stop since the release of "Traitors" last September. The band recently premiered the video for the album's title track, which was shot in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania with director David Brodsky of My Good Eye.
