MISFITS Book Author Schedules Radio Appearance

Former PIGFACE/current THE UNDEAD drummer Joel Gausten, author of the book "Tales of Horror: The History of the Misfits & The Undead", will be the featured guest on the "Diane's Kamikaze Fun Machine Show" on WFMU 91.1 FM on Thursday, March 29 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. EST. The show will be devoted to a discussion of THE MISFITS and THE UNDEAD as well as the history of Gausten's book. The program will also feature a slew of rare MISFITS and UNDEAD recordings. A live stream of the show will be available at www.wfmu.org.

Gausten's next book, "Prong: The Early Years", is slated for a late April release. Excerpts and more information on the book will soon be available at Gausten's official MySpace page.

In other news, Gausten was recently chosen to serve as a contributing editor of "Tour: Smart", the new book by former KILLING JOKE/MINISTRY drummer Martin Atkins. Other contributors/editors include Henry Rollins, Cynthia Plastercaster, former MINISTRY soundman Lee Popa and members of the SUICIDE GIRLS. The book is slated for a May 2007 release.
