MISFITS Tribute CD, New BALZAC Album Coming This Month From MISFITS RECORDS

June 12, 2005

Misfits Records/Rykodisc will be issuing two brand-new albums on June 28: a unique MISFITS tribute album, entitled "Fiend Club Lounge", and the second North American release from Japan's premiere horror-punks BALZAC.

The ultimate and most unusual of all MISFITS tributes arrives in stores on June 28 when the MISFITS meet THE NUTLEY BRASS in the "Fiend Club Lounge". 11 classic-era MISFITS favorites have been interpreted in the form of highly well-executed, instrumental, retro-inspired "space age pop" or "lounge"-style cover versions that will have horror-punks, lounge enthusiasts and fans of incredibly strange music going wild in the pit.

"Fiend Club Lounge" features all new paintings created exclusively for this release by legendary Famous Monsters of Filmland magazine cover artist Basil Gogos, plus an eight-page booklet and extensive liner notes. First pressing copies include a free limited edition Fiend Club lounge drink coaster inside.

"Fiend Club Lounge" track listing:

01. Last Caress
02. Astro Zombies
03. Where Eagles Dare
04. Some Kinda Hate
05. Hybrid Moments
06. Hatebreeders
07. Teenagers From Mars

09. Angelf*ck

BALZAC's second jam-packed North American release, "Out of the Grave and Into the Dark", is a CD-and-DVD combo featuring two brand-new, full-length BALZAC CDs ("Came out of the Grave" and "Dark-ism") plus bonus track ("Gimme Some Truth"),all on one 80-minute CD for a total of twenty-two songs.
