9MM SOLUTION To Release 'The Dream Is Dead' In June

May 14, 2009

Milwaukee-based metal band 9MM SOLUTION, which features ex-MORTA SKULD member Dave Gregor, will release its sophomore album, "The Dream Is Dead", on June 9 via Rock Ridge Music. The band plans to tour heavily in support of the CD, including playing a number of dates with labelmates PSYCHOSTICK.

9MM SOLUTION once again enlisted the help of SOIL bassist Tim King to produce "The Dream Is Dead", and Ulrich Wild (STATIC-X, DEFTONES, PANTERA) to do some mixing. Basic tracking was completed at Mercenary Studios with Scott Creekmore, and also at Belle City Studios with Chris Djuricic. Gregor commented, "This time around, we felt as if we had truly got the right formula for our sound."

After forming in 2003, 9MM SOLUTION released its first full-length album, "One Shot... One Kill", in the summer of 2006 via Mortal Music.
