MNEMIC Guitarist Comments On Upcoming Dates With METALLICA

April 24, 2008

Danish modern metallers MNEMIC have been added to two dates on METALLICA's European summer tour: May 28 at Slaski Stadium in Chorzow, Poland and June 3 at Slavia Stadium in Prague, Czech Republic.

Commented MNEMIC guitarist Mircea Gabriel Eftemie: "We are beyond thrilled and more than happy to be heading out with the mighty METALLICA this summer! Again! We are excitedly looking forward to this wonderful opportunity, that we have been given, and can't wait to blast some MNEMIC waves for y'all. I can only say that we consider this event a true privilege specially to be invited by Lars and METALLICA, and we can not be thankful enough! On top of all of this, I will be celebrating my birthday on the 3rd of June, the same day we will be sharing the stage... I truly couldnt have asked for a better birthday present than this one! From the lads and yours truly, a big thank you to everyone involved in making this happen. See you out there for some metal, cervezas and a sea of meat!"

MNEMIC's latest album, "Passenger", was produced by FEAR FACTORY's Christian Olde Wolbers at Track Record Studios (KISS, MEGADETH, AEROSMITH) in Los Angeles. The CD features artwork by Asterik Studios (ANTHRAX, UNEARTH) plus guest vocal appearances by Jeff Walker (CARCASS, BRUJERIA) and Shane Embury (NAPALM DEATH, BRUJERIA). MNEMIC also completed a video for "Meaningless" with Revolver Film director Patric Ullaeus.
