MNEMIC: Illness Forces Tonight's Concert Cancellation
June 1, 2007Danish modern thrashers MNEMIC have cancelled their previously announced June 1 concert at B-Hof in Würzburg, Germany due to a throat infection suffered by the group's singer Guillaume Bideau. NIGHTRAGE and SLOWMOTION APOCALYPSE will play as scheduled and MNEMIC will reschedule their appearance for later this summer.
Commented the band: "We apologize to anyone who've bought tickets and wanted to finally see us after three years' absence in Europe. We will promise we will definitely make it up to you!"
MNEMIC earlier in the spring completed a European tour with the DEFTONES in support of their latest album, "Passenger". Produced by FEAR FACTORY's Christian Olde Wolbers at Track Record Studios (KISS, MEGADETH, AEROSMITH) in Los Angeles, "Passenger" features artwork by Asterik Studios (ANTHRAX, UNEARTH) plus guest vocal appearances by Jeff Walker (CARCASS, BRUJERIA) and Shane Embury (NAPALM DEATH, BRUJERIA). MNEMIC also completed a video for "Meaningless" with Revolver Film director Patric Ullaeus. Watch the clip online at this location.
