October 5, 2005

MORGANA LEFAY's video for the track "Hollow" has been posted online at the group's official web site. Check it out at this location.

In other news, the Swedish "heavy doom progressive" band have just retuned home from their first-ever Norwegian appearence at Scream Magazine's 15th anniversary in Oslo together with neighbors and close friends TAD MOROSE. "The attendance was good and the band would like to thank Håkon Grav and the Scream Magazine people for the opportunity," the group write in a message sent to BLABBERMOUTH.NET. "This also led to the booking for the Karmøygeddon Festival in may 2006 also together with TAD MOROSE. For further info, check out www.karmoygeddon.info.

"On Saturday, the 5th of November MORGANA LEFAY will do their annual 'Halloween' show at Pub Tranan in their hometown Bollnäs. Upcoming MORGANA LEFAY shows in Germany and England are planned and will be listed on the [band's official] web site upon confirmation."

MORGANA LEFAY's latest album, "Grand Materia", was released in April via Black Mark Records. The follow-up to 2000's "SOS" (released under the LEFAY band moniker) is a concept album about Nicholas Flamel, a 14th-century alchemist who supposedly lived on forever.

MORGANA LEFAY frontman Charles Rytkonen joined fellow Swedes TAD MOROSE onstage to sing "Matters of the Dark" during the two groups' joint appearance at the Chicago Powerfest in April at JJ Kelley's in Lansing, Illinois.
