MORIAN: 'Ashen Empire' To Arrive In The Fall

January 6, 2009

Finnish metal band MORIAN has pushed back the projected release date of its second album, "Ashen Empire", to the fall. The group states, "'Ashen Empire' is progressing somewhat slowly, but what's most important, it's progressing surely!" Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Bloodwork", "Nemesis Rising", "This Mortal Coil" and "Sacrifice".

MORIAN's debut album, "Sentinels of the Sun", entered the Finnish chart at position No. 29 back in May 2007.

"Sentinels of the Sun" was recorded at Studio Musica with producer Hiili Hiilesmaa (H.I.M., APOCALYPTICA, SENTENCED, etc.) and was released through Dynamic Arts Records. Audio samples are available at the group's official web site.

MORIAN's "Away from the Sun" single (see video below) entered the Finnish chart at position No. 2.
