MORTIFICATION: U.S. Tour Postponed

July 5, 2007

Australia-based Christian death metallers MORTIFICATION have postponed the U.S. leg of their proposed tour "due to time restraints in securing performance visas," according to a posting on the band's web site. "We hope to be back in the U.S. as soon as it becomes feasable. All good things come to those that wait."

MORTIFICATION's European tour will go ahead with the following seven shows (venue details to be confirmed):

Nov. 02 - Bern, Switzerland
Nov. 03 - Zurich, Switzerland
Nov. 04 - Eschwege, Germany
Nov. 07 - Bielefeld, Germany
Nov. 08 - Amsterdam, Holland
Nov. 09 - Oslo, Norway
Nov. 10 - Stuttgart, Germany

MORTIFICATION recently announced the track listing for its upcoming CD, "Live Humanitarian", which is now available for pre-order from the Soundmass.com store. Pre-order copies will be shipped around July 6 and will be given first priority. According to the band, "This CD will satisfy your hungry ears until the DVD of the same show is released late 2007/early 2008."

"Live Humanitarian" track listing:

01. Erasing The Goblin
02. I'm Not Your Commodity
03. Hammer Of God
04. Purest Intent
05. Medley: Lymphosarcoma / The Destroyer Beholds / Distarnish Priest / Love Song
06. Priests Of The Underground
07. The Dead Shall Be Judged
08. Spoken Word Part 1
09. Humanitarian
10. Spoken Word Part 2
11. Dead Man Walking
12. Standing At The Door Of Death
13. Spoken Word Part 3
14. Escape The Blasphemous Tabernacle
15. Spoken Word Part 4
16. Chapel Of Hope

Commented the band: "'Live Humanitarian' features songs not on 'Live Planetarium'. The classic era was well covered on 'Live Planetarium'. When playing live on the U.S. and European tour later this year we will be bringing more of the classic era than is featured on the 'Live Humanitarian' CD and DVD."
