MORTIIS: Long-Out-Of-Print Albums To Be Reissued

November 14, 2006

MORTIIS' long-out-of-print (previously released by Cold Meat Industry) albums "Ånden Som Gjorde Opprør" (1994) and "Keiser Av En Dimensjon Ukjent" (1995) will be reissued in North America on January 9, 2007 by Projekt Records. These albums have been out of print since the late '90s and will be reissued as digipaks with updated ("Keiser Av En Dimensjon Ukjent") and completely new artwork ("Ånden Som Gjorde Opprør").

MORTIIS earlier in the year parted ways with Earache Records and has yet to announce a new label home. In an interview with Blastwave webzine, Mortiis said of his label situation, "Right now, I'm between labels and making demos for new songs. There's some really cool stuff that [we played on the recent U.K. tour]. I'm too old to sign another crappy deal. I'm just gonna step back and see what happens. I've also been talking to one director about doing some soundtrack work."
