MOTÖRHEAD, REVEREND HORTON HEAT: First North American Dates Announced
May 4, 2009MOTÖRHEAD will team up with REVEREND HORTON HEAT for a North American tour in late summer/early spring. So far, the following dates have been announced via the REVEREND HORTON HEAT web site:
Aug. 30 - Chicago, IL - Congress Theater
Sep. 01 - Detroit, MI - Motor City Casino
Sep. 02 - Toronto, ON - The Sound Academy
Sep. 05 - Atlantic City, NJ - House Of Blues
More shows will be announced soon.
"Motörizer", the new album from MOTÖRHEAD, sold a little more than 6,400 copies in the United States in its first week of release to debut at position No. 82 on The Billboard 200 chart. The follow-up to 2006's "Kiss of Death" was recorded in part (drums only) at FOO FIGHTERS frontman/ex-NIRVANA drummer Dave Grohl's Studio 606 in Northridge, California with producer Cameron Webb, who also worked on "Kiss of Death" and 2004's "Inferno".
