KING DIAMOND fans were treated to a surprise guest appearance at Friday's (April 21) sold-out gig at Kåren in Gothenburg, Sweden. "This is someone very close to the KING DIAMOND family," vocalist King Diamond said as current MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee appeared behind the drum set and kicked off "Halloween" from the group's 1986 debut album "Fatal Portrait". Dee was the band's original drummer and played on the classic albums "Fatal Portrait", "Abigail" and "Them" until he left in 1988 to join DON DOKKEN. He returned a year later as a session player on KING DIAMOND's "Conspiracy". Tonight's gig marked Dee's first live appearance with KING DIAMOND in aeons.
