MOTHER DIED TODAY Working On New Material

Victoria, British Columbia, Canada-based doom/death metal group MOTHER DIED TODAY has begun demoing material at Cobble Hill-based Deadwood Studios for its as-yet-untitled new album. The band is also preparing for a 10-date tour of Western Canada beginning in late April.

Last year, MOTHER DIED TODAY released its self-titled debut CD before playing its first out-of-province shows on a Western Canada tour. Shortly after this trek, several members were replaced and the revamped group has since written new material in the same bludgeoning, melancholic style.
