MOTLEY CRUE's NIKKI SIXX: RANDY CASTILLO Was "The Fury"

April 1, 2002

MOTLEY CRUE bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following message on the group's official web site at www.motley.com regarding Saturday's memorial for ex-CRUE/OZZY OSBOURNE drummer Randy Castillo, who passed away from cancer last week at age 51:

“Another warrior is put to peace. The end of one life stage is the beginning of another. As this door closes another one opens. This is part of the journey, this is not the destination.

“What a wonderful turnout at the memorial today…. So much love and respect for Randy. We all cried and laughed and celebrated the life that was Randy Castillo… He touched us all…and will forever… I know I'll smile every time he comes kicking ass thru the speakers.

“He was the fury….

“God bless

“Your brother from another mother”
