MOTLEY CRUE's SIXX Engages In Further Verbal Diarrhea

January 15, 2002

More mindless drivel from MOTLEY CRUE bassist Nikki Sixx:

“I remember having this JVC ghetto blaster that used to have more bottom end and more head room than I could ever use. I don't remember where I got it (I probably stole it),but I had it, and that's all that mattered. The year was 1981.

“Funny how life works. All these years later, MOTLEY CRUE hooked up with JVC on the Maximum Rock tour…and they liked the way my brain worked…(i know, don't say it). We had some meetings, and we came up with the print ad campaign we did last year.. It ended with me and Shaun Palmer on a billboard in Times Square…look ma, I finally made it….

“So fast forward to now…we work very closely together on ideas for promotions and they were even in the mix with Outlaw clothing…. we spoke of building a car amplifier that kicked maxx ass and we came up with my 900-watt Nikki Sixx power amp…I have 4 of them in my 57 Chevy alone. Yeahhhhhhhh.

“Now they have fallen in love with my wife (I cant blame them),and they are working with Urban Decay and Donna to market a line of car stereos just to women.

“Damn, all this from some punk from Idaho…

“I always tell my kids…. If you can dream it, you can have it…

Nikki Sixx

“P.S.: Did I tell you computer freaks I have a 42-inch JVC plasma in my studio for pro tools? Makes you wanna slap me, doesn't it… hahaha.”
