MOWER's 'Toxic Terror Tour' Cancelled
September 26, 2007MOWER's previously announced "Toxic Terror Tour" as the support act for TWIZTID has been cancelled. The tour cancellation was due to a recent car accident involving TWIZTID's Monoxide where he suffered a torn ACL muscle in his knee, a serious injury that requires him to stay off it for the next 6-8 weeks for fear of tearing it further.
"It's unfortunate, but we got the news that the upcoming tour with TWIZTID has been cancelled. We were all looking forward to playing for the Juggalos on this tour, as they've been nothing but cool to us," says MOWER frontman Brian Sheerin. "We wish Monoxide a quick recovery and hope he can get back to work soon." Brian continued, "We got the bad news right at the same time that we found out that 'Road Rage' is now the #3 most requested metal track on Sirius Hard Attack. It's unfortunate because we need to connect with the people around the country who have been supporting MOWER and want to see us perform live. We are working on getting back out on the road on another tour before the end of the year, so hopefully we'll be out there tearing up your town soon."
MOWER is touring in support of its recently released album, "Not For You" (Suburban Noize Records),which was produced by ex-SNOT/SOULFLY guitarist Mikey Doling. The album's lead single, "Road Rage", has quickly become one of the most requested tracks at Sirius Satellite Radio's Hard Attack consistently ranking amongst metal's hottest bands like MACHINE HEAD, AS I LAY DYING and IN THIS MOMENT. The band's Dale Resteghini-directed (HATEBREED, SHADOWS FALL) video for "Road Rage" can be viewed below.
