MR. DEATH — the Stockholm, Sweden-based "straightforward, brutal, old-school death metal" band featuring Stefan Lagergren (TREBLINKA, EXPULSION, VOLDET) on guitar, Alex Stjärnfeldt (OCEANLIFT, EDWARD, DCLXVI) on guitar, Jonas Ohlsson (VOID, MASSIVE) on drums, Jörgen "Juck" Thullberg (TREBLINKA, TIAMAT, PHOTO PARADE) on bass, and Jocke Lindström (DIGRESSION ASSASSINS) on vocals — has made its first recording, "Unearthing", available via Agonia Records. The seven-inch single contains four songs — including two previously unreleased, exclusive tracks — and is limited to 500 copies. The group states, "It was recorded one dark and cold weekend two years ago at Sunlight Studio with Tomas Skogsberg [ENTOMBED, DISMEMBER, GRAVE] behind the desk. Since then it has travelled the seven seas, through the valley of death and the dungeons of terror and filth."
