MUDVAYNE Extends North American Trek

January 20, 2009

The Pulse of Radio reports: MUDVAYNE continues to add dates to its upcoming North American trek, which kicks off on February 3 in Waterloo, Iowa. The tour now extends into mid-March, with more gigs possible. Bassist Ryan Martinie told The Pulse of Radio that with their complex songs and elaborate visuals, MUDVAYNE usually needs a few weeks before the tour to get the show in shape. "We spend an immense amount of time on either designing the show, from the lighting to the staging to the actual playing," he said. "You know, we're gonna take a couple of weeks and actually just go through the songs. We'll be doing it every single day, you know, in preparation. And then it won't vary much. Sorry to tell everybody that, but, you know, it's not like we go out onstage and are waiting for 'Hey Chad (Gray, singer),what song's next? What are we playing?'"

Joining MUDVAYNE on the trip will be NONPOINT and IN THIS MOMENT.

MUDVAYNE is touring in support on its latest album, "The New Game", which features the single "Do What You Do".
