MUDVAYNE Kicking Off Tour In Texas

October 28, 2008

The Pulse of Radio reports: MUDVAYNE kicks off its first full tour in more than two years on Tuesday night (October 28) in El Paso, Texas, as the band promotes the upcoming release of its fourth studio album, "The New Game". With the quartet not having played live much since 2006, guitarist Greg Tribbett and drummer Matt McDonough told The Pulse of Radio how they shake off the rust. "We go back and we listen through all the stuff, it's like, we haven't played these songs on this new record for quite a while, so we go back to it, we rehearse, I've been rehearsing at home...it just takes rehearsal, man, and everybody's really gung-ho and ready to get back on the road," Tribbett said. "We have expectations. I mean, it really is about our band being good onstage," McDonough added.

The tour, which also features 10 YEARS and SNOT, wrap ups on December 20 in Orlando, Florida.

"The New Game" comes out on November 18. The first single is called "Do What You Do".

Through a program called "The Album Is The Ticket," fans who pre-order the record at BestBuy.com will have an opportunity to buy a ticket to the group's tour through a code accompanying each copy or pre-order of the CD.
