MUNICIPAL WASTE Complete Work On New Album
May 30, 2005Richmond, Virginia's thrash-core kings MUNICIPAL WASTE have finished work on their debut album for Earache Records. Entitled "Hazardous Mutation", the WASTE's new album was recorded in the band's hometown of Richmond by Corey Smoot (a.k.a. Flattus of GWAR). "We are very excited about this record and we feel its by far our best material to date," states frontman Tony Foresta.
"Hazardous Mutation" features the debut of new drummer Dave Witte (BURNT BY THE SUN, DISCORDANCE AXIS),and is highly recommended for fans of "crossover", particularly old D.R.I."Hazardous Mutation" features cover art by the one and only master of all thrash artwork, Ed Repka, best known for his work for MEGADETH.
To commemorate the impending release of their Earache debut (set for September 2005),MUNICIPAL WASTE is gearing up to hit the road for a string of East Coast dates this summer:
