MUNICIPAL WASTE: Interview, Live Footage Available

May 16, 2007

Richmond's thrash monsters MUNICIPAL WASTE are now a featured artist on Metal Injection's Overdose, the net's most extreme 24/7 metal video channel. Catch up with the band in their element, both on stage and off as they give Metal Injection a private lesson on what it's like to thrash, drink beer and do both at once in two brand new videos that you can find at www.metalinjection.tv.

MUNICIPAL WASTE recently posted a new track, entitled "Headbanger Face Rip", on their MySpace page. The song comes off the group's upcoming second Earache CD, entitled "The Art of Partying", due in the U.S. on July 31 (in Europe, the album will be released on June 11). A press release reads: "Sticking it in the face of depressing modern eyeliner fuelled rock with a blatant disregard for their own safety in honour of the thrash party gods and armed with an arsenal of nuclear beer, boogie boards, food fights and steaming riffs, MUNICIPAL WASTE have only one aim: to put the fun back into rock music. Offering lessons in how to party, the notoriously well-experienced beer mad Virginia based band, return with 'The Art of Partying' which is building up to be one of the most anticipated records of the year."

Fresh out of Zeuss' Planet Z studios in Massachusetts, drummer Dave Witte enthused: "We couldn't be more stoked with the outcome. Fast, furious and fun all rolled into one...a real animal."
