MUSTASCH To Release 'Best-Of' Collection

January 22, 2008

Swedish hard rockers MUSTASCH will release a "best-of" album, entitled "Lowlife Highlight", in late February 2008 through Regain Records. The CD will feature 18 songs from the band's back catalogue originally issued by EMI.

MUSTASCH was honored with the "Best Hard Rock" award at the Swedish "Grammis" gala, which was held on January 9 at Globen in Stockholm. MOTÖRHEAD drummer Mikkey Dee presented the award to MUSTASCH, who beat out such veterans acts as CANDLEMASS, ENTOMBED and CLAWFINGER for the honor.

The bands were each been nominated for their most recent releases, all of which came out during 2007. The nominees were as follows:

ARCH ENEMY - Rise Of The Tyrant
CANDLEMASS - King Of The Grey Islands
CLAWFINGER - Life Will kill You
CRASHDIET - The Unattractive Revolution
ENTOMBED - Serpent Saints
LILLASYSTER - Hjärndöd Musik Till En Hjärndöd Genaration
MUSTASCH - Latest Version Of The Truth
TAKIDA - Bury The Lies

Last year's "Grammis" award in the "Best Hard Rock" category was won by IN FLAMES for their "Come Clarity" CD.
