MY DYING BRIDE: New DVD To Surface In April
February 15, 2005Britain's MY DYING BRIDE are putting the finishing touches on their second DVD, "Sinamorata", tentatively due in April.
The disc will reportedly include live footage (12 songs) shot on November 2, 2003 in Antwerpen, Belgium, as well as backstage extras, the "The Blue Lotus" video (exclusive to this DVD) directed and conceived by David Palzer, the "Prize of Beauty" promotional clip, two videos made by MY DYING BRIDE fans ("Hope the Destroyer" and "My Wine In Silence") and a photo gallery featuring fan-created artwork inspired by the band's music.
In other news, MY DYING BRIDE's first DVD, "For Darkest Eyes", has been repackaged with new cover artwork by David Palser and and will be available at a special price from March 21. The band have also provided two new remixes for inclusion on a three-CD box set of their work to date, which is being released in May.
MY DYING BRIDE's eighth studio album, "Songs of Darkness, Words of Light", was released in February 2004 through Peaceville Records. The follow-up to 2001's "The Dreadful Hours" was recorded and mixed at Academy Studio in Dewsbury, West Yorkshire with producer Mags.
