MY KINGDOM MUSIC Launches NEW DAWN Division

September 23, 2007

Italy's My Kingdom Music has launched a new division called New Dawn. According to a press release, it "will include releases of young and talented bands which deserve your attention and that surely in the next future will spread their name over the musical scene.

"Here are our first bands to be included in the New Dawn series and all destined to be released in late September: ORIENT EXPRESS with their 'Illusion' combine hypnotic moments to straight riffs and inspired melodies, in a clear MOTORPSYCHO, GOD MACHINE mood; ROSA ANTICA with their 'Seven', a disarming, sweet aggression, mixing death metal, crossover and psychedelic moments inspired by bands like HYPOCRISY, SYSTEM OF A DOWN, MASTODON, FEAR FACTORY; SHIVAN that will amaze you with 'When Wishes Sicken', a great return in dark gothic style in the vein of bands like MOONSPELL and PARADISE LOST. And then we come to OBLIVIO, for sure an ethereal post-rock new dreaming sensation in the vein of KATATONIA, THE CURE, ANATHEMA, KLIMT 1918 and NOVEMBRE; and to close it a magnificent new sensation in the avantgardish metal movement, they are AND HARMONY DIES and have created with their album 'Flames Everywhere' an eclectic and avantgardish form of diabolical entertainment, a burning mix of ARCTURUS, DEVIL DOLL, LIMBONIC ART and CRADLE OF FILTH. And to close this series we come to THE SUN OF WEAKNESS which debut 'Trompe L'Oeil' is out now. We can announce it as a decadent, liquid, melancholic and full of pathos 'Spleen' in the same vein of bands such as NOVEMBRE, A PERFECT CIRCLE, KATATONIA, ANATHEMA, TOOL. Expect one of the most decadent albums of the last years."
