MY RUIN To Release Live Album, DVD

August 14, 2008

Los Angeles-based hard rock band MY RUIN will release its first live album, "Alive On The Other Side", on September 22 in Europe on the group's own imprint label Rovena Recordings via Cargo Records. Recorded live at Rio's in Leeds, UK, "Alive On The Other Side" will come in digipack form and boast a two-and-a-half-hour DVD featuring live footage from the band's "Tell Your God Tour" of England earlier this year which featured Marcelo Palomino (MY RUIN singer Tairrie B.'s former bandmate in MANHOLE/TURA SATANA) on the drums.

The DVD, which was created and edited by MY RUIN guitarist Mick Murphy, also includes interviews with the band and its fans, backstage and behind-the-scenes footage, scenes from MY RUIN's album release party for "Throat Full Of Heart" (which was also Tairrie B's birthday) in the UK along with a very memorable end-of-tour party for the band, friends and family and much more. The album's 15-track selection includes a mixture of old and newer songs with a couple unexpected surprises along the way.

MY RUIN has posted a track from the album, "Cold Hands, Warm Heart", on the band's MySpace page. A trailer for the DVD can be viewed below.
