MYSTIC CIRCLE Announce New Drummer

June 4, 2006

German "dark Satanic metal" band MYSTIC CIRCLE have announced the addition of drummer Astaroth to the group's ranks. "After a long time search, MYSTIC CIRCLE found the right one behind the drumset," the band write on their web site. "Astaroth gives the MYSTIC CIRCLE material a much more brutal feeling then the old drummer."

MYSTIC CIRCLE's seventh full-length album, entitled "The Bloody Path of God", was released in February via Dockyard 1. The CD was recorded at State of the Arts studio in Ludwigshafen, Germany with producer Alex Koch and contains 13 songs, including a bonus cover version of CELTIC FROST's "Circle of the Tyrants".
