NAPALM DEATH Bassist Checks In From Brazil

October 29, 2007

Bassist Shane Embury of the British grindcore pioneers NAPALM DEATH has issued the following update:

"NAPALM have one more show to go in Rio de Janiero tommorow [October 27] and then home we go. It's been a good tour, but, as ever, a long one.

"I think we get back for two days tops, then we head to Russia for three shows. The climate change there will be something, as always, I think, you never really prepare for, but it's always cool to play there — lots of great memories."

Gino Alache of RockumRadio.com conducted an interview with NAPALM DEATH guitarist Mitch Harris on October 16, 2007 in Lima, Peru. Listen to the seven-and-a-half-minute audio recording at YouTube.

An audio interview with Shane Embury conducted on September 1, 2007 by Burhanudin Bin Buang (a.k.a. Brader Bo),host of "Vicious Volume", the only metal radio show in Singapore (airing on RIA 89.7FM),is available for download at this location.

NAPALM DEATH is continuing to tour in support of "Smear Campaign", the band's highly acclaimed new album. The disc, produced once again with Russ Russel, is an uncompromising, ferocious assault that continues to address serious social issues that plague today's society.
