NARZISS Sign With ALVERAN RECORDS

June 3, 2006

Alveran Records has announced the signing of German metalcore act NARZISS. NARZISS have played countless shows all over Europe and had numerous releases since their formation in 1999. Most of their records were released through their own label Circulation Records, including the band's last three albums: "Ebenbilder" (2000 CD EP / 2005 two-CD re-release),"Die Hoffnung Stirbt Zuletzt" (2002) and "Neue Welt" (2004). The band's current lineup has been together since 2004 and consists of Alexander Bartsch (vocals),Steven Kretschmar (bass),Steffen Adolf (drums),Johannes Müller (guitar) and Sebastian Metzner (guitar).

Commented NARZISS guitarist Johannes Müller: "We are looking forward to what lies ahead of us and are proud to have one of the biggest and most important European hardcore labels that is constantly delivering top releases watching out for us. None of us would have ever thought that it would be possible to get this far with hardcore music with German lyrics. Thanks for believing in us and in the idea that got us this far in the first place and thanks to everybody who has brought us where we find ourselves right now. A BIG thank you goes out to our families and friends and to the labels that have supported and accompanied us through all these years."

NARZISS' new album, "Solang das Herz Schlägt", is scheduled for release in Europe on August 25. Check out the band on their MySpace profile and listen to a brand new demo song at this location.
