NASHVILLE PUSSY: Equipment Damage Forces Show Cancellations
November 18, 2005NASHVILLE PUSSY were forced to cancel their previously announced U.S. dates in November after "a winter storm in Wyoming caused their equipment van to roll — injuring crew members and damaging equipment," according to a band statement. "No one was seriously injured. However, assessment of damage to the band's gear and unavailability of alternate transportation are contributing factors to the cancellations. The band deeply regrets the necessity of ending the tour early and anticipates rescheduling these dates in February."
Dates affected are as follows:
Nov. 16 - San Francisco, CA - The Independent
Nov. 18 - Concord, CA - Bourbon Street
Nov. 19 - Los Angeles, CA - Knitting Factory
Nov. 20 - Malibu, CA - Malibu Inn
Nov. 22 - San Diego, CA - Casbah
Nov. 23 - Tucson, AZ - Plush
Nov. 24 - Phoenix, AZ - Rhythm Room
NASHVILLE PUSSY's latest album, "Get Some", was released in September via SPV Records. The CD was produced by Daniel Rey (RAMONES) and mixed by Glen Robinson (VOIVOD, ANNIHILATOR). It features a cover version of IKE & TINA TURNER's "Nutbush City Limits".
