NASUM: Live Performance To Be Webcast

Swedish grindcore merchants NASUM's performance at the Popstad 2004 event in Huskvarna, Sweden, recorded in February 2004, will be broadcast on the "P3 Live" radio show on Thursday night (Sept. 16). The show will start at 9:00 p.m. (Swedish time) and will kick off with a half hour of COUNTERBLAST, taped the same night, followed by NASUM beginning at around 9:30 p.m.

As previously reported, NASUM have set an October 26 U.S. release date through Relapse Records for their new album, "Shift". The album, which was recorded at Soundlab Studios in Örebro, Sweden, will be available in Europe on October 11 via Burning Heart Records. The vinyl version of the album, which is also expected in mid-October, will be issued via No Tolerance Records and "will be a deluxe type of release with a gatefold cover and other goodies," according to a posting on the group's web site. "There will be a limited colored vinyl printrun that will be sold on the upcoming European tour." An MP3 of the track "The Engine of Death" is available for download at this location (2.92 MB).
