NECRONOMICON Frontman Talks About HEAVY MTL Appearance In New Video Interview

July 20, 2011

Clifton Nicholas of CUTV Carnage recently conducted an interview with vocalist/guitarist Rob "The Witch" of Quebec, Canada-based black/death metallers NECRONOMICON about their appearance at this coming weekend's Heavy MTL festival in Montreal. You can now watch the chat below.

NECRONOMICON in May announced the addition of bassist Armaros to the group's ranks.

Bassist Diego "D" left NECRONOMICON last year in order to undertake "different professional and personal projects" that he wouldn't be "able to do simultaneously with [his previous] band duties."

NECRONOMICON's latest album, "The Return Of The Witch", was released in June 2010 via Austria's Napalm Records. The CD was mastered with reputed engineer Maor Appelbaum (HALFORD, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, THERION) and features guest appearances by Arianne Fleury (ex-AUGURY) and Roxanne Constantin (NEGATIVA, QUO VADIS),among others.

The band's "The Time is Now" video can be viewed below. The clip was shot in 2008 with Benoit Nantel (GHOULUNATICS, URBAN ALIEN, LES ECORCHES) who "did his best to capture the band's atmosphere and power."
